"令" vs "让" vs "使"

if you want to express " to make" or "to cause", you can use "使". The using way of "令" and "使" is same in your example. 

The "让" , you can use it too, it's same too in your example, but it have other meaning, such as "let" , it means "to order" , check this:

是他让我把椅子放在这儿的!
(He let me put the chair here!)

In this case, it's strange to use "令" and "使". because they do not have a mood or a condition of "to order" .

The "令", though this one word have a "to order" meaning, it just be the noun. if it be the verb, it means "to make", not "to order" or "to let".

if you still be unclear to use these words, you can think about that: 
when you want to change something or someone to do something, you can use all; 
when you want to order or to let someone to do something , you can use "让"

And, the "令" is used usually in writing.

Excel 有【註解】的功能,但有時候會想要在列印時連【註解】一起印出,但預設值無法列印【註解】,這裡教你如何連同【註解】一起列印 Excel 報表。
在功能表上選【檔案】→【版面設定】→ 切換到【工作表】頁籤 → 選擇 【註解(M):】後面的三角形按鈕。
這裡有三個選項:
  • 【無】 → 預設值
  • 【顯示在工作表底端】
  • 【和工作表的顯示狀態相同】
一般選擇【和工作表的顯示狀態相同】。

1) 政府官方机构包括中央政府部门与各级地方政府部门。国务院以下各级国家机构由委 (Commission)部 (ministry) 司 (department) 局 (bureau) 处 (division) 所 (institute)  科 (section) 中心 (centre) 室 (office) 等组成。各机构部门职责分工不同,历史沿革不同,因而机构名称不尽相同,其英译也有差异。有些政府部门有约定俗成的简略语,如国家教委(国家教育委员会)、国家计委 (国家计划委员会)。翻译这些简略语需将其全称意译成英语,例如:

投資者要克服的五大恐懼心理

《華爾街日報》 -新聞頭條壞消息不斷,道指以500多點的幅度波動,經濟前景黯淡不明,這些因素都讓投資者望而生畏。雖然擔憂可能確有其事,但財務顧問們說,如果因為恐懼而不積極進行投資,那你未來的財富積累將受到影響。

1. 股指回到原點

威斯康星州布魯克菲 爾德市(Brookfield)的財務顧問科特羅茲曼(Kurt Rozman)最近跟一位客戶見面。那人認為,標準普爾500指數將在2012年末「一切歸零」,如果他不馬上清倉離場,就會「淨身出戶」。

羅茲曼說:「他預想的是一個極端不現實的場景。」

羅茲曼向這位客戶解釋,要想讓標普500指數歸零,全美前500大上市企業必須在同一時間破產,而這極不可能發生。

夏威夷卡帕島(Kapaa)的金融心理學家布萊德克隆茲(Brad Klontz)說,如果有客戶確信「世界末日」就要來臨,他會引導這位客戶多做幾次深呼吸,並在心裡默念「放鬆放鬆」這樣的詞句。然後,客戶可以評估一 下自己的想法是否切合實際,並尋找支持或推翻這一立場的證據。克隆茲說:「你腦海裡出現的想法,不一定就是真的。」

他還建議客戶三思而後行,不要一有衝動就採取行動,這樣就能減少個人情緒對投資決策的負面影響。

2. 短期市場波動

紐約(新聞 - 網站 - 圖片)州斯卡斯代爾市(Scarsdale)的註冊理財規劃師本蘇利文(Ben Sullivan)說,他一個客戶24歲的兒子近三個月來損失了400美元,就決定「賣出所有股票」。有些客戶的年輕成年子女不太願意投資所在公司的 401(k)退休計劃,因為同事們對市場波動的憂慮讓其對投資前景缺乏信心。

蘇利文說,雖然投資者難以消化股市跌500多點的消息,但清倉離場或不再投資401(k)計劃會是一個大錯誤。

3. 投資陌生領域

密蘇裡州聖路易市(St. Louis)的投資顧問傑拉德凱澤(Jared Kizer)說,在某些情況下,對陌生領域的投資恐懼可能是件好事,因為有些金融產品過於復雜,投資者搞不懂,還是敬而遠之為好。

不過,如果一味躲避陌生領域,投資不夠多元化,投資者可能難以實現自己的長期收益目標。

凱澤說,只選擇自己熟悉的投資品種也許會導致意想不到的投資風險。

凱澤對此的解釋是:如果有人將一輩子的積蓄都用來購買自己所在公司的股票,那還不如投資於多元化的資產類別,這樣才有更好的機會實現自己規劃的退休目標。凱澤分享了幾個投資者的失敗案例,他們把賭注都押在自己所在公司的股票上,結果公司破產,血本無歸。

4. 錯失市場機會

北卡羅萊納州教堂山市(Chapel Hill)的注冊理財規劃師詹姆斯米勒(James Miller)不斷接到客戶來電,詢問是不是應該「現在離場觀望,等安全一點再進來」。

米勒告訴這些客戶,選擇投資時機並不能解決問題。他提醒客戶說,等情況看上去比較「安全」的時候,市場可能已經到了一個比現在高得多的點位,等那時再投資,客戶將失去很大一塊資產增值的空間。

5. 沒有足夠資金

俄亥俄州查格林福爾斯市(Chagrin Falls)的註冊理財規劃師康斯坦絲斯通(Constance Stone)說,如果客戶的債務負擔很重,現金流很少,他們經常就會覺得沒有足夠的資金來做投資。

斯通說:「之所以造成這種局面,往往是因為這些客戶的消費方式不太理性。」

斯通最近幫助一對三十歲出頭的夫妻嚴格控制每月消費,尋找削減開支的各種方法,以便其能償還13.2萬美元的信用卡債務和助學貸款。這對夫妻最終意識到,少去餐廳吃飯,開源節流,他們能夠存下錢來,為退休做好準備。

不過,當你評價上司時要公正。不要僅憑一兩件事就做出判斷。如果你真的認為你的上司妨礙了你的事業發展,那麼作為最後一招,你可以考慮換工作。

《華爾街日報》:好上司應該是什麼樣的?

辛格:好上司是能夠激勵員工,給他們空間並信任他們的人。他們會根據員工需求變換管理風格。年輕員工可能需要手把手地教,而資深團隊成員則需要自主權。

此外,好的管理者會給員工提供實現期望業績所需的工具和指導。管理者需要關心團隊成員並確保他們的事業有進步,而且,與員工建立私人關係也很重要。

《華爾街日報》:轉換一下話題,全球經濟衰退對貴公司的招聘計劃有何影響?2012年消費品行業的招聘前景如何?

辛格:從全球看,由於全球經濟環境的變化,松下公司已裁員,但印度分公司沒有受到影響。

我們已經實現了2011年招聘600位銷售、市場營銷和製造部門員工的目標。我們在印度的銷售收入正在增長,而且我們正在通過開設新的分公司和新商店進行積極投資。

從長遠角度看,松下印度也計劃踏入太陽能和環境相關業務領域,這會創造新的工作機會。從整個消費品行業來看,2012年不會有積極的招聘動作,因為各家公司現在都很關注成本。

第二,我們要招聘的是不僅能完成眼前工作、還能勝任長遠發展的人。我們根據應聘者是否適合擔任5-10年後的公司工作來評價他們。我們會自問「如果這個人對市值10億美元的公司來說很合適,那麼他對市值20億美元的公司來說合適嗎?」

《華爾街日報》:你最討厭應聘者哪一點?

辛格:傲慢、自負、沒有耐心。我們不需要尋找成功捷徑的人。

我最近面試過一位優秀的大學生,他說他希望成為一位「高淨值」的人。顯然,這是一個傲慢的回答。這與我們謙恭禮讓的指導原則不符。

《華爾街日報》:你們有哪些招聘員工的途徑?

辛格:我們70%的招聘是通過員工推薦進行的。還有15%是通過職場顧問,剩下的則是通過校園招聘和專業求職網站進行的。

我們的員工中,一半是研究生以上學歷,其中的管理學研究生被分進了銷售部門和市場營銷部門。

Add a secondary vertical axis

You can plot data on a secondary vertical axis one data series at a time. To plot more than one data series on the secondary vertical axis, repeat this procedure for each data series that you want to display on the secondary vertical axis.
  1. In a chart, click the data series that you want to plot on a secondary vertical axis, or do the following to select the data series from a list of chart elements:
  1. Click the chart.
This displays the Chart Tools, adding the DesignLayout, and Format tabs.
  1. On the Format tab, in the Current Selection group, click the arrow in the Chart Elements box, and then click the data series that you want to plot along a secondary vertical axis.

The Format Data Series dialog box is displayed.
 NOTE   If a different dialog box is displayed, repeat step 1 and make sure that you select a data series in the chart.

A secondary vertical axis is displayed in the chart.
  1. To change the display of the secondary vertical axis, do the following:

MS Excel: Transpose Function


In Excel, the Transpose function returns a transposed range of cells. For example, a horizontal range of cells is returned if a vertical range is entered as a parameter. Or a vertical range of cells is returned if a horizontal range of cells is entered as a parameter.
The syntax for the Transpose function is:
Transpose( range )
range is the range of cells that you want to transpose.

Note:
  • The range value in the Transpose function must be entered as an array. To enter an array, enter the value and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter. This will place {} brackets around the formula, indicating that it is an array.

  • Excel 2007, Excel 2003, Excel XP, Excel 2000

For example:
Let's take a look at an example:

Based on the Excel spreadsheet above:
We've placed values in cells A1, A2, and A3, and we'd like to view these values in cells C1, D1, and E1 (transposed). To do this, you highlight cells C1, D1, and E1, then enter the following formula:
=TRANSPOSE(A1:A3)
Then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to create an array formula. You will notice that {} brackets will appear around the formula and the values in cells A1, A2, and A3 should now appear in cells C1, D1, and E1.

Question:  In Excel, isn't it easier to use the Paste Special transpose option to do the same?
Answer: Yes, if you ONLY want to perform a one-time paste of the values, you can do the following:

Highlight the cells that you want to copy. In this example, we've highlighted cells A1:A3. Then right-click and select Copy from the popup menu.


Then right-click on the cell where you'd like to paste the values and select Paste Special from the popup menu.


Then select the Transpose checkbox and click on the OK button.


Now when you return to your spreadsheet, you'll see that the values have been copied and transposed.

A. Use Option Explicit statement at file level to force explicit declaration of all variables in the script:

When you use the Option Explicit statement, you must explicitly declare all variables using the DimPrivatePublic, or ReDim statements. If you attempt to use an undeclared variable name, an error occurs:

"in accordance with" VS "pursuant to" VS "according to"

"pursuant to" must follow some other action. "Pursuant to the new regulations recently passed regarding bubble gum-blowing, no bubbles may be blown that exceed 3 inches in diameter."

"according to" is citing a reference. "According to the Bible, in the beginning was the Word."

"in accordance with" is "in line with", "in agreement with" -- "in accordance with your wishes, I will no longer quote the Bible while blowing bubbles."

有幾個特別的(和一般的檔案沒關係), 放在隨身碟的目錄底下, 檔名是:

那是mac os底下的檔案預覽檔(在mac os裡是看不到的)
若是不介意的話,留著無所謂,刪掉了對檔案也不會有影響
不過下次用mac瀏覽檔案的話,又會再出現

Trademark filed in Hong Kong is registered for 10 years


A mark registered under the Trade Marks Ordinance (Cap. 559) shall be registered for a period of 10 years beginning on its date of registration. For example, if the date of registration for your mark is 10 September 2003, it shall be registered for an initial period of 10 years until 9 September 2013. You should renew your mark during the six-month period ending on the date of expiry, i.e. latest by 9 September 2013.

The registration of the mark may be renewed for further periods of 10 years. In the above example, if you renew your mark for a further period, the next expiry date will be 9 September 2023 (assuming all the above dates are business days).

「大股東名單」 vs 「大股東綜合名單」

1. 「大股東名單」提供的是甚麼資料?

「大股東名單」顯示的,是上市法團所有曾於指定日期(即所輸入的結束日期)之前發出通知的大股東名單,以及大股東就該上市法團所呈交的最新一份通知。

大股東名單並將包括:
  • 已填報個人大股東通知(表格1)或法團大股東通知(表格2)的人士;
  • 己填報董事/最高行政人員通知  上市法團的股份權益(表格3A) 並披露持股5%或以上的董事。

2. 「大股東綜合名單」提供的是甚麼資料?

集團的最終控股公司又或控制一系列同集團公司的人士,可能會因為其所控制的法團或同系公司(下稱「受控法團」)擁有某上市法團股份的原故,而同時擁有該等股份權益。受控法團本身可能也因為其股份權益而份屬大股東,因而也填報了有關通知。因此,完整的大股東名單上將會同時見到最終控股公司和有關受控法團。

所謂「綜合」,是指「大股東綜合名單」只顯示份屬大股東的最終控股公司或控制一系列同集團公司之個別人士。這不包括在搜尋日期前已存檔之通知中被指為「受控法團」的大股東並無透過受控法團持有權益的大股東則不受影響,仍會在此名單上出現。名單並會顯示上市法團大股東所呈交的最新一份通知。

How to Write a Self Introduction Letter as a New Colleague to All Staff on Your First Day

      Open with a casual salutation, but don't get too relaxed. "Hi everyone," is an appropriate greeting, while " 'Sup team?" might raise a few disapproving eyebrows.

      Outline one or two of your most recent positions and list any areas of expertise: "I come to you with three years of experience as a marketing assistant in a collateral production role at Company Y.       Provide your personal interests and hobbies in a separate paragraph. Don't go overboard -- one or two should be enough to give colleagues a glimpse of your personality. You can find me hiking the trails near my house or camping with my family during my off hours."

How do I make mouse scroll wheel work in excel

Q: 
Mouse SCROLL WHEEL works in all other office 2007 products but not in Excel.
Is there some hidden setting to make this work?

A:
I was having the same problem. To fix the issue:

1) Goto Control Panel > Mouse> Wheel Tab
Note: This may vary depending on your version of Windows OS.

2) There should be an Exceptions button or tab there.

3) Give a name of your choice and Browse and add Exel.exe. Click OK.

Click Apply and lastly click OK... you're done!
